Welcome to SilkenWool! Over the last 20+ years, we’ve curated a collection of hand-knotted Persian rugs that we truly love.
From the rustic charm of tribal gabbehs—rich with organic colors and soft, pure wool—to the breathtaking elegance of our most delicate silk pieces, every rug in our gallery tells a unique story. A Design For Every Taste
Persian rugs come in many styles, weaves, and designs. The tribal rugs are often pure wool, spun from local sheep wool and dyed with local organic dyes. They are rustic, colorful, and passionate. They add much color and life and bring warmth to your home.
The finely knotted City rugs are often fine wool combined with silk or pure silk. They have intricate design and complex color palette. They are truly a work of art that has taken many years to make. They bring elegance and sophisticated beauty to your home.
In addition to a large collection of fine Persian rugs, we work with American artists and carry many one-of-a-kind works of art such as mouth-blown glass pieces, wood vessels, and other unique home décor.
